The South African corn curle Kurkure/Cheetos/Nik Naks production line has started production recently after being installed and debugged by one of our after-sales service engineers. The capacity of this production line is 100-150kg/h, and the raw material for making these delicious snacks is corn grits.

The production line includes multiple machines that are a mixer, screw conveyor, kurkure extruder, two elevators, separator screen, vibrating screen, continuous fryer, vibration deoiler, seasoning machine, cooling conveyor and a package machine. All of these machines work together seamlessly to produce the ever-popular Kurkure, Cheetos, and Nik Naks snacks that are loved by many.

The kurkure extruder is the most important machine in this line as it is responsible for giving the snack its unique shape and texture. The working principle of the extruder is to make the corn grits into a molten state through extrusion and shear force, force the raw material in the molten state through a die, and shape them into the shape of corn curls.A continuous fryer ensures that snacks are fried evenly and to the desired crispness. The vibrating deoiling machine removes excess oil from fried snacks. A flavoring machine adds the desired flavor to the snack, and a cooling conveyor ensures the snack is cool enough to be packaged without compromising its quality.

Packaging machines at the end of the line ensure that the snacks are packaged in hygienic and aesthetically pleasing packages, ready for delivery to supermarkets and shops. The entire process is automated and requires minimal human intervention, making it an efficient and cost-effective way to produce snacks.
